Bhubaneswar: A meeting of the Odisha Cabinet will be held at the State Secretariat here at 6 pm today, according to reports.
The Cabinet to be met under chairmanship of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is likely to approve four important proposals, including one to hike salaries and perks of MLAs.
Similarly, proposals for abolishment of the Block Grant system in schools and colleges and enhancement of minimum salary from Rs 16,600 to 18,000 for which the Government has already made an announcements and annulment of contact with Panda Infra might come up, reports said.
